Bequests A bequest can be listed within a will or it can easily be added to a will as a codicil. The bequest can be for a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or the residue of your estate.

A bequest can be expressed in the following way: "I give to Saint Therese Foundation, 8000 Bass Lake Road, New Hope, Minnesota 55428,  ______percent of my estate, or the sum of ______dollars, or a specific piece of property (describe the securities or property)."

Beneficiary Designations One of the easiest ways to make a substantial gift to Saint Therese Foundation is to name it as a beneficiary to a life insurance policy or retirement account. You can make Saint Therese the soul beneficiary, or you can designate a portion of the proceeds. Contact your insurance agent or retirement account administrator for more information and to obtain the proper forms.

Life Estates This is a creative way to make a substantial donation to further the work of Saint Therese Home, and provide benefits to the donor as well. If you own your home, vacation home, farm, or other property you can continue to use the property as long as you wish - and receive immediate income tax benefits. Donate the property to Saint Therese Foundation, but retain the right to use it for life. After your death, full ownership rights are transferred to Saint Therese Foundation.

Endowment Fund Saint Therese strives to create an endowment fund that can be used to ensure quality services and facilities well into the future. Gifts are typically made through membership in our Heritage Society. Members designate Saint Therese as a beneficiary in their estate plans or give a substantial cash gift.

Regardless of potential tax benefits to the donor, the greatest benefit any donor to Saint Therese Foundation is the knowledge that his/her donation will help to continue the proud tradition of quality care to seniors provided at Saint Therese Home.
